Brittany Sondberg is a metals artist and jewelry designer based in Greensboro, NC. Her company, Copper Chameleon, specializes in environmentally friendly collections using responsibly sourced precious metals. She received her BFA in Metal Design from East Carolina University in 2004. Having studied under such acclaimed artists as Bob Ebendorf and Linda Darty, among others, Brittany complicates the traditional notion of jewelry by juxtaposing bright enamel hues with the specificity of minimalist forms to create work that is both daring and accessible. The jewelry line designed exclusively for Be Mom Couture characterizes this unique approach to contemporary design. However, she evenly divides her time between duties at work and home, which consists of a significant other, two dogs, and currently remodeling a newly purchased 1920's bungalow.
